Starke Academy of Dance is an established studio that offers two locations in Starke and Keystone Heghts, FL. We opened 11 years ago in August of 2000 to provide quality instruction with knowledgable teachers. There are plenty of studios out there, but we believe what separates us is our ever-changing staff. We have been very fortunate to attract truly exceptional teachers to our area over the years and with that change, our dancers have been able to glean new aspects of dance and grow in their art. Dance is not just an extra-cirricular activity. It teaches athleticism, poise, grace, teamwork, and it allows dancers to express themselves in ways they otherwise could not. Whether dance is something your child wants to do for fun, to help them make teams in school, to better their flexibiltiy in gymnastics or cheerleading, or for a career, it is the adult's responsibility to provide them with the best possible instruction they can receive. Technical training is a must or else it's a waste of money and in this economy, who can afford it? Our dancers have fun, but what makes them smile the most is when they perform. Our studio has been national title winners since our existence and we continue to get such feedback from judges who have been in the industry for years with comments such as: "whatever your studio is doing, keep it up!" and that is just what we will continue to do.
